first of all - a little goes a long way with this one. i was really afraid to try any product with retinol, because i heard a lot of stories about it being quite intense. this one havent irritated my skin, its very gentle. ive seen quite a big diffrence in my skin texture. it didint break me out, it actually helped with breakouts actually. i have waaay less pimples, and even if i get some (at that time of the month when its unavoidable), they go away very quickly. love the ordinary skincare :) even bought some retinol 0,2% in squalane for my mom. but always remember to do a patch test before using any form of retinol, beacause everyones skin is different
Previous to this, I was using Peter Thomas Roth's Retinol Fusion PM, which is a 1.5% encapsulated retinol-- remarkably gentle and quick-absorbing. My experience here is comparable, with lovely brightening and acne-fighting effects (this form of retinoid has been well-studied for acne) as well as the anti-aging you'd hope for. It spreads in a milky, pleasant way and never irritates. I will use this until I start Retin-A and even then, will probably buy it for my decolette.
