This cleanser effectively cleans my face morning and evening without stripping any moisture from my face. After each use, my skin just feels clean and hydrated. The cleansers I used in the past usually would take a way a bit of moisture from my face, but this one from DBS doesn't.
I have combination skin and am currently tackling uneven skin tone. I never experienced any irritation with this nor it caused any breakouts. My skin only breaks out when that time of the month is coming, but for the rest of the month, it's clear and balanced.
I really love this cleanser and the main cleansing surfactant, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, really works for only lifting away excess sebum and leaving my moisture barrier intact. The pH of this cleanser is also ideal. Panthenol/ B5 is high up on the ingredient list and that's important for my skin. I usually have a problem with salicylic acid but I think it must be in this only for the purpose of formula preservation since it's super low down on the ingredients list. If the foam seems thin, its actually supposed to be that way and does a great job of removing makeup because of the Sodium Cocoamphoacetate surfactant.
